ThunderJet AQ3208S - 3.2m Industrial Eco-Solvent Printer in Moldova

ThunderJet AQ3208S uses 8 Epson I3200-E1 printheads. This is no longer an entry-level configuration, but a production machine for large roll-to-roll jobs at 3.2 m width. The 8 heads allow faster printing of banners, backlit, vinyl, wallpaper, indoor panels and outdoor advertising. The main advantage of AQ3208S is not simply more heads, but higher productivity on large formats. For sign production, this means less time on large jobs, fewer joins on wide media and a better cost per square metre when there is a stable order flow. At the same time, this type of machine requires proper installation, regular maintenance, stable ink and a trained operator.

Yes, the 3.2 m width allows large wallpaper, indoor panels and decorative graphics to be printed with fewer joins. This is especially useful for hotels, offices, retail spaces, exhibition stands and interior projects where the image is viewed from a short distance. For high-quality indoor printing, width and printheads are not the only factors. The right media, print mode, ICC profile and ventilation requirements also matter. For important projects, we recommend testing the exact material and approving print quality with the customer.

A 3.2 m printer is the right choice if you regularly print wide banners, billboards, backlit, large wallpaper, construction advertising or large indoor panels. This type of machine needs more space and a higher budget, but it gives an advantage in productivity and width. If your main jobs are stickers, window graphics, smaller banners and indoor graphics up to 1.8 m, AQ1804S may be a more rational choice. It is more compact and easier for daily operation.

Maximum speed is usually specified for fast modes and does not always represent daily production conditions. In real work, speed depends on pass count, resolution, media, ink, ICC profile, drying/curing and the customer’s quality requirements. For sign production, stable production-mode speed is more important than maximum speed alone. Sometimes a slower mode gives visibly better quality, especially for indoor graphics, wallpaper, small text and images viewed from a short distance.

An ICC profile connects the printer, ink, media and print mode. Without a correct profile, the same artwork can look different on vinyl, banner, backlit, PET or indoor media. Colours may shift, grey may become tinted and dark areas may lose detail. For professional printing, profiles should be built for the customer’s real materials. This is especially important for brand advertising, photo studios, interior projects and customers where deviation from corporate colour is not acceptable.
