Advantages
Production speed up to 6.7 m²/h
Pixy U4 Pro is a compact production solution for UV DTF transfers. It is not a banner printer and not a textile DTF printer. It is designed for UV transfer stickers, logos, labels, packaging decoration and personalized objects. With production speed up to 6.7 m²/h, it is suitable for personalization studios, advertising agencies, promotional product suppliers and packaging businesses that want to add premium short-run production in Moldova.
600 mm print width for efficient job nesting
The 600 mm print width allows multiple jobs to be arranged on one roll: stickers, logos, packaging sets, labels, decorative elements and personalized batches. This size is practical for UV DTF stickers, box decoration, cosmetics packaging, bottles, tumblers, phone cases, laptops and promotional products.
High-resolution modes up to 720 x 2400 dpi
Pixy U4 Pro supports 720 x 1200 dpi, 720 x 1800 dpi and 720 x 2400 dpi print modes. This is important because UV DTF products are usually viewed from close range: small text, logos, QR codes, thin lines and decorative details must look clean.
White, varnish and premium effects
The K/C/Y/M + White + Varnish + GV configuration allows premium UV DTF transfers with full-colour graphics, white backing, gloss accents, selective varnish effects and decorative finishing.
Gold / silver foiling solution
Pixy U4 Pro is presented as a solution with gold/silver foiling capability. This makes it possible to offer metallic-effect logos, gift packaging, limited series, beauty products and promotional items with higher perceived value.
Stable and operator-friendly workflow
Easy film loading, anti-static brush, touch-screen control panel, anti-collision unit and a precision head mounting plate help reduce manual errors and make daily operation more predictable.

FAQ
Which printheads does Pixy U4 Pro use, and why does it matter?
Pixy U4 Pro uses 4 Epson I3200/I1600-U1 printheads, depending on configuration. For UV DTF, the number of printheads is only part of the story. The full print scheme matters: CMYK, white, varnish and foil varnish / gold-silver effect. Epson I3200/I1600-U1 are UV-compatible printheads from the PrecisionCore MicroTFP family. I3200 has more nozzles and higher productivity potential, while I1600 is a more compact and accessible solution. In Pixy U4 Pro, this configuration is used for stable UV DTF sticker printing, dense white layers, gloss effects and decorative transfer onto finished objects.
How is UV DTF different from a regular sticker?
A regular sticker is printed on self-adhesive film and remains visible as a separate film layer. UV DTF is a transfer technology: the image is printed on a special film, then transferred onto the object and looks closer to direct printing. UV DTF is suitable for promotional products, packaging, cosmetics, bottles, glass, plastic, metal, electronics, gift products and small branding runs. The main advantage is the ability to decorate finished objects without traditional direct printing on every item and without a heat press when working with rigid and semi-rigid surfaces.
Can Pixy U4 Pro be used for clothing?
Pixy U4 Pro is a UV DTF printer, not a traditional textile DTF printer for T-shirts. Its main purpose is to produce UV transfer stickers for rigid and semi-rigid surfaces: glass, plastic, metal, packaging, promotional products, electronics, cosmetics and gift items. For clothing, textile DTF is usually used with different inks, film, powder and heat transfer. This is why UV DTF and textile DTF should not be mixed, so the purpose of the equipment stays clear.
Which surfaces should be tested before UV DTF serial production?
UV DTF works well on many rigid and semi-rigid surfaces, but the exact material should be tested before serial production. This is especially important for silicone, soft plastics, highly textured surfaces, low surface energy coatings, curved objects and products that will be washed or rubbed frequently. For a professional result, adhesion, scratch resistance, moisture resistance, bending and the final appearance after transfer should be checked.
Why should printers not be compared only by maximum speed?
Maximum speed is usually specified for fast modes and does not always represent daily production conditions. In real work, speed depends on pass count, resolution, media, ink, ICC profile, drying/curing and the customer’s quality requirements. For sign production, stable production-mode speed is more important than maximum speed alone. Sometimes a slower mode gives visibly better quality, especially for indoor graphics, wallpaper, small text and images viewed from a short distance.
Why are ICC profiles important in sign printing?
An ICC profile connects the printer, ink, media and print mode. Without a correct profile, the same artwork can look different on vinyl, banner, backlit, PET or indoor media. Colours may shift, grey may become tinted and dark areas may lose detail. For professional printing, profiles should be built for the customer’s real materials. This is especially important for brand advertising, photo studios, interior projects and customers where deviation from corporate colour is not acceptable.
Are installation, commissioning and training included?
Yes. Installation, commissioning and operator training are free of charge. The equipment comes with a 1-year warranty that includes a service package. We provide service and consumables in Chișinău to keep production downtime to a minimum.
Do you create ICC colour profiles?
Yes, ICC colour profiles are included free of charge. We build them individually for your media, inks and jobs so that printed colour matches your artwork precisely.
Which consumables are needed and are they in stock?
The main consumables are inks, cleaning fluids, wiping/capping parts, filters and spare printheads. We keep key items in stock in Chișinău, so replacement and maintenance are fast.
